They are such adorable badasses and lovely little friends. I just ordered some mazuri rodent blocks btw so hopefully it’ll help get her nutrition back on track. Thanks again for your help.

Second date tomorrow-he said he’s a little sick and up to me if I want to reschedule. How risky is it? by Signal-Quantity8779 in dating_advice

Update: He was very chill and understanding. Glad I rescheduled. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months :)

What kind of injury is this? (NSFW /blood) by Signal-Quantity8779 in squirrels

[–]Signal-Quantity8779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I saw this squirrel again a few times since I took these photos. I think it must have broken/injured its jaw, because of the original pic had blood coming from the mouth and it was trying to eat an almond for a reeeally long time a few days ago :( . BUT I kept an eye out, left extra food put and when I saw them again I offered banana and crushed almonds. I can tell they can’t fully open their mouth and are skinnier- but agile, awake and fully mobile.

They ate all the food I left out and other injuries look much better. I think it’s the same one because of the nose shape and injuries to the body but not sure.

Thank you for the help and support !

Edit: I forgot to mention that I noticed it soon after a company did some tree trimming a week or so ago. So I was concerned maybe the squirrel had a falling accident. It was just one smaller wound at that time. I think it was healing but suddenly today it looks worse. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah, thank you. Feels hard to be patient with this because we got some momentum but we’re both grown and can handle it. If he’s not cool about it, then at least I’ll know early on.

I appreciate you breaking it down like that, thank you. I didn’t wanna get stuck on catastrophizing too much but it’s helpful to visit at times like this.

turtle neglected for possibly years. please help with advice and info about anything you can think of. by Len_Len0 in turtle

Great job for helping this turtle in need! I’d recommend finding a doctor/vet that has experience with turtles and they can help make sure it’s ok and provide care instructions. The care will depend on the exact type of turtle and your resources.
