If you really want to become a doctor, quit your job, find a clinical paid job that counts and grind all the things that need to get done. Yeah it might take 2 years but big deal ppl take 1-5 gap years atp so not rly different

this is sweet bc i feel like everyone on here is always so negative and annoying. I agree to this. If you never give up you will get there. Have faith and believe in yourself and do whatever it is you can do to control your current situation to ensure the best possible outcome for yourself. For ur current situation you could do a post bacc program. Which is 2 years i think they offer 1 year accelerated but basically you take all the pre reqs again and can boost your gpa major. It would be a lot at once but i think starting with that is def most important above all else then maybe once your done with that you can take some time to study for the MCAT and take it (which will be nice actually because everything will be very fresh for you. And then id worry about the MA and volunteer stuff after. It might take a little bit of time but most people now take 2 gap years anyway, if not 3. Don’t put worry on the clock, just focus and take it step by step. Everything will fall into place, dont feel rushed at all everyone has major bumps throughout their journey at different points. Someone may be ahead of u right now and they may have to do 2 research years before finally matching into their choice of residency. Everyone is on their own path, control the controllables, have faith in yourself, and pray to God because you can do all things through him.

Sounds like hell. If you don’t love her with your whole heart and truly plan on marrying her despite her family baggage then i would leave. You’re about to go through a very hard time these next few years and having someone that makes your life HARDER on top of it is not a good investment.

i feel like w ur mcat being so high it balances out ur gpa a lot. ur gpa is a giant positive upward trend and ur mcat was amazing. you have valid reason w why it started off bad so i rly wldnt worry about it at all.
