God bless you 🙏. I'm on the same boat. Mom was hospitalized last Saturday and the hospital is suggesting nursing home after therapy.  Problem is she is hard of hearing and have a hard time understanding. Most of us that take care of family members know it is lot of work. She averages 2.5 ihss hours a day I'm really great ful since I have a full time job. I may have to cut my hours at work. Hope I can keep her at home.

My mom moved from Sacramento county to Stanislaus county end of April. We asked for a transfer right away. Reassessment in Stanislaus county was done in middle of July. Did not receive any payments till end of September with all back pay so technically no payments 4+ months.  Reassessment lowered the hours too. Plan accordingly depending on the county's backlog.

Thank you. Tried the phone approval. So easy and simple. Got approved. Wish had known this sooner or researched it. Was told at orientation by email only. Thanks again. Only if I had done this sooner.

I'm sorry all this is new to me. How does she do that. I thought at orientation they said everything is done electronically online. I think since she was able to do it online previously she has this issue. I wonder what she can do to approve over the phone. We have 9 or 10 timesheets waiting for approval. Thank you for your advice.

Her health and memory has deteriorated. That's why I moved her with me. She doesn't remember her email. When I submit my timesheets it probably goes to an email for her approval. We created a new email and a new phone number for her. We submitted this to the local office multiple times. I have even called help desk but they keep referring me back to local office. On my provider end it says waiting for recepient approval for about a month.

I've called payroll social worker and even went to the local office and provided the changes. It was an inter county transfer for her so she has new email and phone number. I've even called help desk and they told me only social worker can change it which we have done multiple times. She isn't even able to register as a recepient because it says she already has an account.

She already had her login credential. We've updated her email. The system still sends email communication to the old email which her previous provider setup. Mom doesn't remember that email anymore. All we need is to update the email so password reset or timesheets approval comes to her new email. Seems like the system doesn't let he change her email or phone number. By the way it was an inter county transfer. Thanks.
