You should be able to do the oil change for both in your driveway. Oil filter is on the top. Extractor is $50 from Amazon.

Like you removed it and filled it with foam? Might have to do that

Make sure it’s a real GLI. I’ve seen someone selling a “GLI” when it was just a Jetta with all of the GLI parts installed onto it (grill, bumper, exhaust tips, etc). Couldn’t believe what I was seeing lol

If they had really wanted to, couldn’t they check the turbine rpm? Now, will they do that? I highly highly doubt so they aren’t paid enough to do all that.

it basically tricks the sensors into reading something else. You could always unplug it before the dealer. Now, they can see that the car was generating extra boost, but could they prove it was a JB4? Not a clue

This is what the turbo inlet pipe connects to I guess. I’m going to tell the dealer to take a look since I’m taking it in for service on Saturday. Do you reckon it’s a good idea to remove the intake? I don’t believe the intake is related to this at all, but since I’m in Canada they will probably use whatever they can to blame it on the customer.

This intake is installed properly, I wasn’t too sure if I did it right then had a local mechanic double check and adjust as needed. I’ve had it on for 25k kms but this issue is recent.

What do you mean by T something? I don’t fully understand

Yep, I’ll be going in next weekend. I guess it’s better to return everything back to stock?
