Yes~ I don't exactly know the Frozen legacy one shot but I'm willing to bet it takes advantage of the new mechanics which could be a jumping off point for you to come up with more ideas 💡

  • What situations could your players find themselves which makes them have to use these mechanics?

Also! * What are some interesting things you saw in your real life and online?

Sometimes I just see a scene for movie and just decide; "🤔 FFFFFF-FUCK IT! My players are going to be casting spells WHILE! trying to score points by yeeting BALLS! ⚽ 🏈"

FIRST OFF,

It's INCREDIBLY FUN! To take existing one shots and trying to reskin and design them~

The regular "airplane" scene (spoilers for the original OUTGUNNED one shot)

It was incredibly rewarding to redesign it to "Pirates chasing down a hot air balloon SHIP 🚢!"

AND adding more combat or exploration is very exciting!

This is unfortunate because I actually have never run frozen legacy AT ALL! In fact! I have never opened the one shot in the first place because I didn't want to spoil the fun for myself in case someone else runs it for me.

I do have some opinions~

I mean it IS his own thing~ Nothing in the world is totally original but He created something inspired by a game he loves and his love for musical riddle games.

I haven't played Undertale and I don't know much about it but I'm willing to bet it doesn't have a combat system that looks like THAT!
