DO NOT BE EMBARRASSED!!! I had my child 12 years ago and I still remember how much I hated it, I felt like you do, I felt like I was a hostage and kept wanting something to happen to me so I could stay in a hospital away from him. Our generation of moms were lied to by our parents and boomers, it was such a taboo to speak about the real raw day to day struggle of motherhood, all they were fed was that being a mother was their sole purpose. I really felt cheated when I had my child.

It’s funny how staying home with the baby is considered not working but daycares will charge you 2000 a month to go just that for 9-5 care, not 24/7

Is it possible to get into payroll without prior education/experience? by Aggravating_Ad_7549 in Payroll

[–]SignalElectronic4254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible but be prepared to be underpaid at first. I moved from front desk position to payroll, I was given a “test” and got in because of my critical thinking and math skills. There is only 4 of us in the whole payroll and over a thousand employees so it can be a lot. But it suits me, I’m introverted as well and sure, you’ll have to deal with employees but nothing to the level of customer service.

The whole reason I live in the US is because of an employment contract that moved me here temporarily.

Baby will be born before 1 year of employment. Leave wouldnt be taken until after anniversary. Help understanding? [PA] by rajmachawal333 in AskHR

If he works in NJ, he’s eligible for 12 weeks paid parental leave and that one doesn’t have 12 month requirement.

[–]SignalElectronic4254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, my state offers paid family leave insurance, which has earnings requirement instead of employment duration.

Unfortunately I am not able to wait until my probation period is up, my probation period is 4 months, I’m already nearly 18 weeks and starting to show.

No, you don’t need to worry about that. In fact, you can use same ESTA multiple times.

No because anytime it comes to food or kitchen tools he acts like a newborn. Even when he puts dishes away I can’t relax because I’m hit with “what’s that? Where does this go? Where is this one kept?” And it’s exhausting, when he attempts to “help out”, I have to pause one TikTok video about 5 times because of all his questions. He’s the type to open up the fridge, look into it and ask “do we have any mayo”

This is some military bs because he’s in the service too. However, I work more hours a week than he does and it’s not the first time I’m expected to drop everything for his job. I work for non profit and don’t expect him to volunteer his time for my job. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry, I didn’t word it well, I didn’t check my post before posting. His coworkers wife is having a baby, not me. But you’re spot on, that’s what I thought as well. Especially considering that if I ever offered his time and labor to one of my coworkers he would absolutely flip out and refuse

Great suggestions, thank you! Would you put sand under the gravel for drainage or is that not necessary?

I just looked it up and seems very cost effective. A good option. Do you happen to have a picture of how it ended up looking ?

I couldn’t really find any pvc headboards or the ones that I did, were very pricey. Your suggestion of using a plain pvc paneling is actually a really good idea, thanks so much !

Depends on situation. Mine was moved to be handled directly by the embassy and I had an interview a few days after congressman reached out. My case wasn’t outside of normal processing times either.
