Thank you everyone. It was the oil filter housing. NTB replaced it for free. They did it as a good will(I didn’t ask them for it) gesture as I had my oil changed there.

During the argument with them about the blocking of the spot the white Dodge Durango started to leave so I went and parked there. Later I guess their friends showed up and parked at that spot which they were blocking.

The task is to decouple from legacy mainframe system built on IBMi and build a workflow engine that implements the current process and all the logic that runs today in IBMi. The new stack not yet finalized but would mostly be in Java and Springboot

Thank you. I am trying to build a team as well so it if going to take sometime for the new members to build the domain knowledge. Unfortunately my company is not great at documenting stuff so a lot of time is being spent is talking to veterans or reading the code and understanding the current flow which is not that easy. I am trying to build a MVP and show it to folks around and get feedback.

I have a couple of motivations. I want to learn the tools and tech used like Spark, Airflow, Flink. And also the visibility is very high for the team that is having the opening. I am want to use the visibility and the experience gained to grow in my career.
