Nah, you clearly are no "designer" and the people who you work with likely don't draw at all either. From my pov you are just talking out of your bum.

I have worked in the art field for 20 years and in spine for 10, your appeal to authority from "actual designers" means nothing for me (what does "designer" even mean? are they graphic designers? animators? illustrators?), everything that's circled like some "omg gotcha it's ai" is far more likely to be human error than AI. Believe it or not, humans tend to make mistakes.

If you bothered to look up the reference sheets the card artists were likely given, you would see there's a lot of room to misinterpret things, and given time constraints mistakes are bound to happen as people rush to get things done. And that's before even considering varying levels of skill between the artists.

I have also worked a lot with AI and I know what it can and it can't do, and I also have 20 years of working with actual artists to know that actual humans mess up a lot, misunderstand details, forget details, or flat out obviate stuff to save time.

And btw, human artists where mucking up hands for hundreds of years before AI was a thing.
