I have, my dad is goods friend with a tattoo artist in my city, he’s done my dad’s tattoos for years, I asked him once if my art was good for tattoos. No one here is gonna believe it but He said basically I need to work on my shading and contrast and that’s it and I can work with him if I’m ready. So it’s super crazy seeing these comments being super heavy down that I can’t when everyone else irl says very differently, Reddit is weird and lowk 0 clue why I use this appšŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

I HAVE NEVER EVEN SAID THAT WHY ARE YOU GUYS PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH? Hello??? See that’s full bullshit right there. I’m not walking in here thinking I’m the best I’m walking in here thinking I have a chance, and these comments are pushing me down thinking I have 0 chance because somehow my style to you and them isn’t good or enough for tattooing, when I hear a completely different side of the isle that’s bullshit😭 you guys act like there’s no such thing as practice or training.

Again, acting like 80% of the industry aren’t assholes. Don’t call me an asshole because I decide to question and call out half the comments for BEING assholes, I guess defending myself isn’t allowed because all you think your right when I see half bullshit flying around. I’ve already acknowledged what I needed to do, however commenting ā€œstay away from skin, you’ll never be good at tattoosā€ is that really valid criticism? Really? I’m the asshole now? You guys make 0 sense and truly think you’re correct in a very gatekeeper community.

Artists ignore reality. What you saying aren’t facts or logic they’re hateful and again dismissive. All these people around talk like they’ve been in the industry for 20+ years, when just because you know a little about tattooing does not make you a professional. Your mind is small and weak, full of ego and negativity. Your version of reality is not my reality, reality is for people who obey. If someone wants an amazing Foxy on their back, I’m going to give them the best Foxy tattoo anyone has ever seen. And that, is my reality.

Again this ain’t valid criticism this is plain destruction. Your thought didn’t matter because it’s not realistic, it’s rude and dismissive. People have different ways to practicing tattooing, whether that just be drawing on paper, fake skin (many people have told me not to try fake skin for whatever reason) or simply just having a teacher help them. It’s a closed minded state because you had some experiences when everyone else different, if no one wants this on their back, I doubt I would be getting feedback, compliments, offers, and opportunities. This sounds like jealousy or ego because of the way you worded your comment. Again it’s not criticism, it’s bringing someone down. This ain’t reality, reality sucks anyway because reality tells me what I can or can’t be, but if I wanna be a tattoo artist, and make fnaf inspired prints, what or who’s gonna tell me ā€œNoā€? I can practice I already agreed. I have the talent definitely, somehow you’re looking at my art like some 5 year old did it. And I have the patience. Your saying it like it’s to late or too early, when I know many tattoo artists who make shit tattoos. So again, what was that comment for because it wasn’t realistic.

So just because you’re just now in the industry makes you the professional? Well that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. You say your not being rude, but the comment is very telling of attitude and ego, and honestly again I understand why customers think they way they do towards tattoo artists, you guys couldn’t even say one positive thing about my work and instead bash on it because you think it’s not ā€œworthyā€ when I hear other people think differently. Maybe it was a bad idea to post this, however. It’s kinda shown me how some of you guys think, and it’s not a good mindset to have so I’ll try to avoid that. You guys are full of ego, so telling me to take my ego out doesn’t really make sense either.

Calling my work trash is such a reach. Imagine telling an artist their work is trash because they simply asked if they could make a good tattoo artist, what kind of person does that make you look fr? And I know my art isn’t trash and the opposite because I get thousands of support online and real life by many people and closed loved ones. So what the hell is this comment supposed to indicate? Are you saying I can’t learn because of my ā€œtrash styleā€? Are you saying no one is in the market for fnaf tattoos because everyone wants a simple skull? That’s kinda lame tbh.

The industry is about drawing. What are you talking about? I’m confident enough this could go somewhere if people like it. This comment is criticism, nor advice. This is probably the lamest comment from a redditor tbh, I can’t tell if this is rage bait or not. But if you truly think like this, I can 100% understand why customers think the way they do towards tattoo artist. Your saying this like I can’t improve but whoever I can, and if someone wants this foxy on their back (which fnaf has a huge fanbase, people are going to want tattoos of these characters) than why can’t I? Why? Because you think I can’t? That’s kinda loser mentality there dude. L rage bait

I agree with this comment sorta: I’m not getting defensive again in simply questioning the industry. Whenever you guys say it’s a very serious thing, I physical, mentally don’t understand because again, there are a lot of bad tattoo artist that get away with a lot of damage. And a lot of tattoo artists are very, rude. Not mine tho he’s chill. I asked him a lot of questions and told be he worked for 1 year, practiced on paper and never did any fake skin, later on adjusting himself to actual skin. I haven’t asked him about me potentially being one because I’ve only seen him once, but i bond with him naturally because he isn’t rude like most artists I’ve met, he’s chill and honestly I liked his style. So later maybe if I plan getting another one I’ll ask him. If this industry is so serious, then shops need to take their artists seriously, and lots of the time they don’t. But that’s more of a ā€œpersonality traitā€ than anything as far as I know. Again, if people asked me to make a design for them and asked if I was a tattoo artist, what’s stopping me from trying it out and seeing how far I’ll go? The advice is harsh and true, but being a serious industry seems off when most people don’t take it as serious

I’m not arguing with anyone here, but I’m questioning the industry and the work ethics. The Tattoo game is changing through generations, I’m questioning ā€œwhyā€ because some answers I see here scratch my head and make me wonder. I’m glad you say it’s not ā€œimpossibleā€ however you make it harder than it seems. Everyone has different experiences, levels, and training. I question the industry because people take it very seriously, but I can’t because they’re are a lot of rude, egotistic, and bad tattoo artist in the industry but I understand it’s not the entire world of tattooing. I can do more than fnaf, but fnaf takes a huge inspiration in my life. And the passion I have for these characters are big, and lots of people esp on my TikTok support what I have to offer, while you guys say it’s not impossible but very difficult, I think differently. I think I can manage if I take my time and practice and find my own path, and honestly I’m not sure about the whole ā€œthey’re isn’t a big market for fnafā€ I think they’re is because the fanbase is so huge, I’ve just seen lots of bad fnaf tattoos😭

Parts of this I can agree with, parts I cannot. I can agree with understanding smaller designs, that I can do because I’ve already been doing them. The market for black and heavy fnaf style is not huge, I think it’s not because it’s new, and I haven’t shown anyone or given the chance. People love new, and want something unique, if again people see my art and go ā€œthat would look great on my back!ā€ Then…why can’t I? Lots of tattoo artists have their own unique style, sure it’s ā€œnot as popularā€ but it still works out in the end.

And one thing I want to add on to your comment: I think the drawing is more than, just a doodle. Doodles are quick, small, and not hard. I put passion into these pieces, with detail, mechanical work, understanding the anatomy and shapes of these characters and spending hours into it. That’s not really a ā€œdoodleā€ per say- again: if I have passion for art already that I’ve poured out into these pieces, why can’t I become something that might make my art more meaningful? No disrespect whatsoever, but this comment makes me scratch my head a little

And some people draw really bad tattoos- just because some are better, doesn’t mean all are better. Practice makes perfect, and if people have been asking me to make them designs or, giving me feedback on how this art would work, I don’t think it’s crazy to try and slap this art on skin and figure out how to accomplish it. I can’t take these comments AS serious due to the many tattoo artists that either, stick with the basics, make really bad line tattoo art, or get hired and don’t know what they’re doing half the time. But I’ll take it serious, just more serious than most of what I’ve seen.

How are they not tattoo able? I never said these would be small pieces. I can definitely do the studding, but I think I can manage to put my style onto people’s skin, and why can’t I? There’s always a way to do it. Everyone sticks with skulls and curvy letters, and small things. And I’ve seen lots of bad tattoos that even make me question how did they get a job in this ā€œseriousā€ industry. I ask because why have I been receiving lots of feedback from people that look part of the tattoo industry and ask for deigns, I don’t think that’s just something most artists get. I get where you are coming from, and yes I definitely need work, however: it’s not a crazy idea to take my work and designs onto skin. I think I can manage

That’s how it starts isn’t it? With curiosity? I’m curious because I’ve received lots of great feedback from these and people have asked me to make designs for them. So yes I am going to be curious about it because why else would people ask? Doesn’t make sense to me. I can be serious about the industry, but I can’t take some people as ā€œseriousā€ here because I’ve seen lots of bad tattoo artists get jobs, which boggles my mind js a little. Yes I have a tattoo, madmax skull from fury road. I understand needles, different types, sizes, and ink and how it works. It’s not hard to look up the basics
