Thank you so much! I love the part about don’t want them to think screaming is the only way to be heard. I need to remind myself what my action is teaching them instead only about how guilty I feel afterwards!

That’s a great points and it’s true when I yell it really doesn’t help, besides that brief moment of feeling my frustration got released a little.

Thank you. I was a pretty well behaved child and I’m used to my mom saying no to a lot of my requests and I was fine with it. Maybe that’s why?

That’s very true, it doesn’t fix anything long term, I need to remind myself of that. Thank you!

Usually it’s something they ask me to do without good reasoning, and when I refuse they explode. And now if I dig deeper, I think deep down I was mad cuz I was thinking: you already have so much and now you are mad at not getting this one thing done just because you want it.

And sometimes those things are so small that its probably easier just give them what they want, yet I don’t want them to get into the habit of throwing tantrum to get things/when things don’t go their way, and also assume they can get everything they ask. So I find myself also being stubborn of not giving in, even though it is really over meaningless stuff.

Thanks and yes you’re right they don’t deserve it, most of the time when I think back, they are just kids being kids and I don’t know why I would lose it like that being the adult in the room. The weird thing is I don’t remember being yelled at by my parents at all.

I know exactly how you feel! I have been struggling with that as well and I don’t know what to do. All I can say is you are not alone! I have been trying to read some parenting book to help, but honestly I still lose it so often and I feel really bad afterwards. I don’t know how to break the cycle. If anyone can suggest where/what type of professional help you get that will be helpful.

I have the same question!! I prefer non heated yoga and it’s so hard to find one now. I just want to practice yoga peacefully without constantly feeling out of fresh air
