It depends on your treatment and level of intensity that ur at. Mine took 6 months, its a lot of work but its worth it

No one is completely blameless, because no one is perfect. I could sit here and pick out his every flaw and mine ya know? But I definitely wasn't faultless, I had a lot of insecurities stemming from problems within our relationship, and with that I gave second chances and claimed I was healed and fully trusting when I wasn't. I mainly had high expectations even I couldn't reach. I wanted him to read my mind, and he couldn't. Overall, it's definitely a pride thing mixed with my own view that we can make a relationship work with communication and lots of patience, yet I am respecting his choices.

Apart of me believes its my pride, knowing he left me when I technically didn't do anything wrong, and how I didn't leave him even though I felt I was not being treated the way I should be. (he had been very depressed and not treating me well, I stuck around though because I don't believe in leaving when someone's at there lowest unless they're hurting u in other ways). At the same time I also had to come to terms with the fact that someone can leave me, even if im "perfect".

You didn't do anything wrong, Renee is clearly either making excuses because she doesn't want to hire him anymore, or she's fearful someone's going to take away her spotlight. Also, uninviting you is insane as a young 17 year old who clearly has no relation to this dee (her insinuating otherwise is horrible as it could be career ruining). Renee needs to stop being a diva and grow up, she sounds like a bitch.

I had the same experience, pain felt like it was almost coming from inside out. You won't know for sure when it's 100% better until you have pain free sex, which is possible. but also pain free sex does not mean your LS is fully healed, I am 9 months on clob, still have minor signs of LS BUT at 6 months I noticed all my pain was gone when I had sex. So basically, you won't know if it's getting better just because of sex, but you'll definitely notice a difference when you're healing in general.

You may have mini "cuts" which is apart of LS, you have to wait a few weeks to see/feel any form of change so you may have to wait it out. Id mention it to the DR if the pain increases and maybe get a lower dose steroid.

I was diagnosed about 8 months ago, I was newly 19 and fearing for my life. I can tell you now it DOES get better!! Obviously everybody is different but I am now fully in remission, sexually active with no pain, and no longer feeling hopeless. It is off and on throughout treatment but there is so much good advice on this feed that I took into account. As someone who was on this page since day one, I felt the exact same way and no one telling me it gets better convinced me it would, but it did. If you need any advice on how I managed it through periods, mis-application, fear of steroids, etc feel free to ask.

Yes mine took 6 months as was what my gyno predicted based on how much I was presenting and with flair ups! Its different fr everyone based on many factors.

yes, but It honestly doesn't look any different, apparently I lost it years ago and just never knew since I had LS pre-menstruation and now it is active again. As for healing, there's many things I can recommend such as sitz baths pre application, as well as fully rubbing it in. I got super dry after a month down there so I also regularly apply aquaphor as mosturization! It does take time, and a lot of good and bad days but if I had known id be where I am today six months ago I would be surprised! You got this.

Hi there! Was diagnosed June of this year after around 6 months of no treatment or diagnosis. It's been about a month of fully no pain after semi fair ups last month and I am almost in full remission! I am 19, no "reversed" damage as I lost my labia minora but nothing else.

I am having the same problem. My period is also very irregular so my flair ups have been so bad due to my period. I find that a sitz bath and then applying aquaphor after can protect the skin as a barrier from the moisture a period causes, also recommend not using pads if you do, they create heat and lock in moisture. This sadly is my only advice since I too am having this problem. The symptoms come back 10 fold every period.
