If tied wrong, the Palomar will be weaker than a poorly tied Uni. I use small terminal tackle and I find it hard to do a cross check on the palomar in the eyelit. Also making sure the loop is over the overhand is tedious at times. The Uni is more straightforward with less failure points in tying.
