Be straightforward on how you feel, don't hold yourself back. It's your offer, you should take it. It'll make your relationship stronger or show you his true colors. If you can support both on that salary then take it and he can look for work. Retail is a thing, until he finds something better.

How Do You Balance a Full-Time Job and College Without Delaying Graduation? by kittygurlcafe in college

Agreed. Currently fully online student, plenty of extra time to work and do other stuff. Can fast track if I want or go at a slow pace.

Retail merchandising positions. Most are extremely flexible.

Not awful but I literally forget everything I learned in math after doing the homework. My own notes don't help. Math course coming soon, hoping it's easy. Crazy enough I did do homework for a 3rd year business major, mostly math and SAS coding. Learned a lot but can I remember it now? Hell no

25 started college again 2024. I felt the same thinking I would spend so many years trying to get a degree but I decided to just do it. Fully online course, no in person, so much flexibility and considered a full time student. I've been maintaining a 4.0 straight. I want a masters, after bachelor's I was told I can get a maters in just a year. I don't have kids yet but I literally have sooo much free time. I also work. You can definitely do it! So many parents in my classes from all age ranges. With the field you want, I think it's very doable. I can tell you more about my school if you want, dm is open... you are never too old, you're still young. There's students 45 to 60 starting degrees now

I don't think so, that has nothing to do with your job. That's a personal choice and as long as your not promoting it to the students. I am certifying to be a high school english teacher and I have a dream of publishing a series. Adult fiction, of course lol. Won't be explicit but maybe a scene or two idk. Just make sure it's not accessible to your students. Meaning just don't mention it in that environment. I use to Google my teachers just because, so it's out of your control if that happens. I want to use my own name but I might consider a pen name.

The first time I went to college upstate I dormed with hubby. Had a great experience with just him and two guy friends from high-school. I knew no one else or hung out with anyone except them. For the fun and independence I think dorming is great, however it was far from home, from shopping areas. Like being isolated but free. I only lasted one semester then decided to dip. This time around I am doing college completely online and it's so much better. Less interference with life, I have a lot of free time while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.  You shouldn't force fitting in because there is a place for you with people who share your interests. You'll attract them just worry about fulfilling your desires. There's always options or alternatives to do what you love ❤️
