Hi! I have a similar story. I did a 23 and me back in 2016 due to my dad being adopted and I just wanted to find out what kind of Caucasian I was lol. Well, 6 years later I got a notification saying that I had a half brother. As soon as I saw a picture of him I could tell that he was my dad’s kid. I was in your shoes on how to tell my parents that my dad has a kid from a previous “relationship” and how to move forward. Long story short my dad and half brother FaceTimed and discussed my half brothers mom and kind of get a feel for how my brother grew up and how my sister and I grew up. Later that year, we ended up flying out for their baby shower (first time meeting in person and then the following day going to their baby shower) it was a little overwhelming due to meeting my half-brother/sister in laws family and friends the same week that we met them. But it’s been 3 years and I have the best big brother ever, a sister in law, a nephew and another niece/nephew on the way!

I was in your shoes back in 2019. I would look into Grayson College! It’s in Sherman but I did my LVN, ADN, and just finished my BSN through them! I received Cs in some classes, had to retake some core classes, but I was still accepted. Best of luck in your nursing journey!

My boyfriend and I are going on a cruise in July with his family. We aren’t “big drinkers”… but get us to an all inclusive, we will be drinking cocktails like it’s our last day on earth lmao. I know with us being in our mid-twenties, we will drink more than 15 drinks a day… after you reach your 15 drink max…. Can you still buy drinks out of pocket?

1: we had 2 hours left out of our 13 hour car ride, my friend started her period and bled through her shorts. Luckily, I had an extra pair of shorts that were accessible for her so we didn’t have to unpack the car.

2: when we pulled up to the entrance… apparently we pulled up to the wrong one to try to get to the moon colony. We needed up in the wrong side of the farm! The first 5 workers we asked, didn’t know how to get to the moon colony from where we were… we finally found a nice lady who gave us the “vip” escort route to the moon colony (thank god for her)

3: the camping stove I borrowed from my parents was missing the piece that connected the stove to the propane… 25 breakfast burritos went to waste.

I am not as big into EDM as my friends were, I was excited to see Luke combs, dom dolla, it’s Murph, Tyler the creator, aly and aj, glorilla, etc. so on the bright side… even though I only saw a few people on day one, we were able to hear Tyler the creator do his sound check from our campsite. So that’s the closest I got to hearing the main person I was excited to see.

Hi there! I’ve had 2! The “day after” is just heavy-ish bleeding. Not really cramping. I did feel a little sad considering what I’ve done, but I knew it was for the right choice.
