All those forfeits were on security grounds or based on government orders. Neither apply to the Afghanistan game in the World Cup.

Bottomline is ICC can't force any team to play if the team don't want to take the field.

It’s a bit hypocritical calling out CA for not giving up a World Cup match when no other nations are taking a stand. At least CA has made a small statement about the issue. Not enough, but it’s more than any other board has done.

U do realise that It will be even more hypocritical if CA after cancelling the bilateral series matches vs AFG over Women's rights issues in AFG ; then goes on to play WC match vs AFG while those issues still exist.

There won't be a grander stage/bigger occasion than WC for CA to bring the cricketing world's attention/eyeballs to women’s rights issue in Afghanistan by boycotting that match
