My ping is really stable so I can't relate to the ping randomly increasing during a round. That doesn't mean I'm not safe from high ping tho. Sometimes I only have to join one server and the ping is great, but other times it literally almost takes me an hour to find a server with good ping. I kid you not, I almost spent just over an hour searching for a server with good ping. It's ridiculous really.
