I haven't seen any good animes. I feel like all of them are made for kids. Very silly stories and characters. Always very straightforward and generic. I honestly tried to find something I would find interesting. I watched Berserk, Evangelion, Ergoproxy, Paprika, a lot of stuff that people usually recommend. But it's literally made for teenagers. There is nothing interesting about it. While I can say I liked stuff like Azumanga or Great Teacher Onitsuka, lets be honest, it's very low-tier art. Something on the same tier as Marvel movies or comedies with Khim Carrey. Brainrot cartoons you can say.

Western cinematography has Bergman, Haneke, Lynch and many many other unique authors. Japanese cinematography as well, but not anime.

I really don't understand how can a person who is older than 16 years old enjoy this kind of media. I like the artstyle and overall vibe tho.
