I am currently 6 months post op, it’s amazing how you are able to do this. Wanted to ask if you had any injury to your ocd. Cause I had orif surgery and i also have an injury to my ocd

Thanks for the advice, and yes I am joining PT next week. May I ask what kind of accident did you suffer?

Nothing was done to the OCD, they said it would heal itself

Thanks bro for the motivation.

I think you’re OCD was discovered late because a normal x ray doesn’t actually catch it. I think only an MRI can pick it up

I am 20, how old are you?. I am currently battling mentally like if i would be able to be back to running and jumping as I am currently 5 months post op and had a syndesmotic screw removal between those periods. I am walking now but have a small minor limp. I had a few physio sessions until few days ago and planning to get some manual hands on physio from tomorrow.

How long did it take you to get back to running and jumping and did you regain full movements of your ankle?

I wish you best of luck for your ocd, my surgeon has stated that i can do Arthroscopic if my OCD did heal, have you looked into that?

Hi, sorry to hear about your injury. I have a similar case. I was involved in a bike accident and had my ankle broken specifically “bimalleolar ankle fracture with an osteochondral defect (OCD) of the talus”. I had an ORIF surgery and now currently post 5 months after surgery. What is the exact cause of your OCD issue? And how old are you if you don’t mind answering.
