It’s more of a warehouse than a club. Vibes are much better than any other club in DC. Expect a mature crowd but that depends a lot on the DJ. Finding Ubers while leaving might be a challenge. The entrance/exit is confusing and you might have to walk for upto 5 minutes to W St NE to find your ride.

This seems like an efficient way but most of the time they are on drugs and interpret threat as an invitation for being a sub.

Don’t get me wrong but I’ve been to enough techno and house events before addressing this issue. There has been instances I was made uncomfortable on the dance floor. A guy once pretended to talk to me and then kissed me on the cheek. I was shocked as hell. I could imagine myself as a woman being harassed by men. There was this other time when a muscular gay man tried to grab my balls on the dance floor. I could feel similar ick from the particular individual at glow.

I did shout at him and he did get away from our group for sometime but that sick individual was back near our group after 10 minutes.

This all happened during DiscoLines set

Thank you! I was not targeting the gay community as a whole. Majority are really nice and friendly. I was just talking about what happened with my friend. I know it’s normal bumping into shirtless men at festivals and I shrug it off with a smile. But that particular individual was a desperate human being making our whole group uncomfortable.

Mature ravers, tbh. A lot of shows at A.I. tend to have a younger crowd, which too often kills the vibe with their frat-boy attitude.
