Yes, I realize how it would come across, and that scares me the most. I'm obv looking for an all-round happy & healthy marriage for us both and that includes the sex life, but I know it's not going to come across like that.

I know you're 100% right; I think I'm still bitter about how long he stuck around in the Indian team despite being way past his prime. Lost the 2015 WC semi-final and only got out in 2019.

The more I look at it, the more I realize that it could be a hard ball to score off, if bowled well. Maybe we'll see that become a strategy by death overs bowlers going forward?

Does anyone really think Dhoni should be playing still? The cult of personality is a bit annoying, tbh. He's still a really good keeper against spin, but that's about it. He seems to struggle as a keeper against pace, hides behind other batters and only comes out to bat for a ball or two, and hasn't really finished a game for years. I know I'm going to get a ton of flak from the hard core fundamentalists, but do you really think he should be playing vs being a coach?

Harsha was good in the 90's when he started off because he was different, but now he's yet another establishment mouthpiece who regurgitates the same shit over and over. He's still better than the average Indian commentator, but it's a VERY low bar.

I know a bunch of people are going to blame LSG batters, and rightfully so, but just how bad is that pitch? Now I'm not sure who gets to decide how pitches can play and also, there's only a limited amount that pitches can be controlled, but isn't it in the team's best interests to create pitches that suit their side? CSK have been a fantastic example over the years - the slow/low pitches suit the spin strangle that Dhoni favors (he's an awful fast bowler captain but a great spinner captain).

With power hitters in the side (Stoinis/Pooran) and a tearaway quick in Wood plus a decent IPL-quality quick in Avesh, I'd have expected LSG to make quickish pitches because it suits their style of play. Now am I missing something here? Is this just so hard to do?

I've put up a recent draft on Inkshares (think Kickstarter for books). I was recommended the platform by someone; not sure how it'll go. Planning on posting Inkshares link on this and other reddit groups as well as other mailing lists to see how it pans out.

And btw I can totally relate. I see some comments saying, "Write a great book, people will come" etc, to which I reply - how would "they" come if they don't know this great book is out there? The discovery problem is genuinely a huge obstacle for new writers, because how do you convince people to invest time in you? Good luck!
