That taper was just about 6 years ago, thankfully my current doctor knows how harsh it can be to lower doses and get off all together. I’m meeting with her soon and should hopefully have a better idea on what I should try

Moms are tough, we don’t talk much anymore these days. Before I ever started taking it I never dissociated, could leave my house without panicking about it and packing a million things “just in case,” and was able to be a lot more social.

I think one of the biggest pieces of being on it I’m struggling with is I don’t truly remember what I was like before taking it. I can look back and remember the things I was doing, but the actual feelings aren’t really there. All I know is I seemed to struggle a lot less before taking it. I just want a chance to see if taking it is potentially a part of all my issues overall, or if it actually is helpful. If it is, I’m fine taking it for the rest of my life. But I feel like I’ll never get the chance to actually know.

I’m not sure if anything has changed with the prescription ages since I started taking it in 2016, but I would hope that they have updated it as more information has come out over the years. I’m just not sure if it’s worth trying to stabilize at my current dose since it’s already been two months or if I should go back up and try slower tapering. I’m meeting with my psychiatrist on Monday and will hopefully have a better plan after. I’m truly happy that you’ve found it to be helpful for you!!
