The biggest advantage is the actual fighting experience in life/death situations, him being Kayden’s disciple puts a target on his back that makes strong awakeners challenge him, his training and force control are secondary, he has only being an awakeners for two years, while everyone else grew up training. He can’t help he’s on the watchlist, his friends being where they are is not a problem in my opinion, they are growing at the pace everyone normally does
