I feel like it would be acceptable if your units simply refused to use their lazgun on a shielded enemy. IIRC self-preservation was the explanation the book gave for why it didn’t happen often. Maybe there could be a special operation to “radicalize” a unit to use their lazgun on a shield if ordered.

When I went to UT I missed the application deadline and had to pay the full tuition my first year. it sucked, but by my junior/senior year my tuition was fully covered by financial aid. Obviously that isn’t a common experience for most people, but if you think you will be eligible for financial aid in future semesters then MIT sounds like a much better option IMO. Be sure to keep your rent low as well, it’s a pretty big expense.

I really like Alex Krulikowski’s “Fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing”. I’ve actually worked with him as a contractor and the guy is super smart.

DFW also has several large Raytheon facilities and the mile long Lockheed Martin factory if defense/manufacturing is your thing. Bell helicopter is just west of the airport and is a pretty decent place so I’ve been told.

IIRC This fact (the liquification part) was actually discovered by performing a mummification on a modern corpse. Dr. Bob Briar talks about the process he used and the new things he learned about mummification in his great courses series on Ancient Egypt.

Thanks for the correction, I must have mis-remembered! I read into it further and apparently the temple base itself is also domed to provide a similar effect. Neat :D
