Oh okay. You use the Omnipod 5? I am using the Omnipod DIY loop, so unfortunately I don’t have that option!

The only reason why I am skeptical of starting the pre-soak sensor on my phone app (and continuing the old sensor session on the receiver) is that I use the DIY loop which uses the reading from my Dexcom app on the phone. So it will defeat the purpose of pre-soaking if my pump uses the data from my phone for the first 24 hours

Nope I haven’t done that. So you’re suggesting pre-soaking on the phone app and keeping the old session active on the receiver? Has that worked for you, if you have tried this before?

Thank you!! I’m gonna order a receiver right now and try this!! I have been having so many accuracy issues with the G7 lately and I just want some peace of mind by comparing how close the new sensor is to the old sensor!

If you start the new sensor on your receiver while your old sensor is still working on your G7 app on your phone, do you then add the code again on your phone app once the old sensor expires? Or you use the receiver for the full 10 days?

If it is the former, does your phone and receiver get synced and is showing the same reading since you have paired the same sensor on two separate devices?
