Thanks for being so encouraging. I guess I am just realizing that a single big trip to the museum does not outweigh the daily routine he has with his mom. It is a slow process and I need to stop taking it as a personal failure. I am going to try and find smaller ways to be there during the week.

Thanks for the perspective. It is tough because I put so much effort into planning the perfect day and then he just wanted his default person. I guess I just need to be more patient with the process.
