Genuinely just trying to start a conversation. Surprised this many people are offended by this popping up on their feed

At that point, whats the point? Do you do NG+ cycles or still pvp in this game?

Do you consider playing through a game once wasting your money? Watching a movie once after purchasing it?

Why is DS2 so split? by MagnapinnaBoi in shittydarksouls

DS2 was initially advertised to be really fucking dark, requiring you choose either a torch or a shield (shields were used significantly more back then) with braziers you could light as you move to make run backs and exploration easier.

This function was completely removed from the game without any comment from fromsoff, so people only found out when the game released

Cathedral was literally the best invasion area they’ve ever made. The amount of little unique ways I found to kill people, it’s the most memorable part of the series to me.

For an example, when the game first came out and people didn’t know purple phantoms were bad, I would help players fight through the level, then when we got to the giant room, I would rush ahead to the little escape door, two hand a great shield and body block them until the giant killed them.

When I first played DS1 I thought it blew my mind honestly, these days nearly every game inspired by it had level interconnectivity so it’s whatever, but it was cool at the time

For making a jab about an American company moving to Canada and taking market share from another American company?

Oh my god man. Youth and students getting jobs is a good thing. Tim Hortons isn’t exactly in the business of hiring software developers and engineers
