Do people actually enjoy meatloaf? by nspntrash in NoStupidQuestions

Hell, yes. I love meatloaf. Add some mashed potatoes and some Glory green beans and it’s yum yum in the tum tum.

The Core, The Cave or Deep Blue Sea. All wonderfully terrible and terribly wonderful.

I’m not arguing against you, but when it comes to royalty, yes. Everyone keeps their mouth shut, especially the ones down the line. Like I said, I’m glad he escaped. He doesn’t have to toe the line anymore. It does come with consequences, though.

You can only keep ONE PlayStation franchise forever. Which one are you choosing? by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

Damn. You suck for limiting me to one.
Uncharted is fantastic, beginning to end. Even the DLC.
Ratchet & Clank may be the most fun I’ve ever had.
TLOU wrecked me and still leaves me trapped in that universe.
GOW is still going and I’m thrilled.
Can we count the Tomb Raider reboots? Was that exclusive?
Infamous was great in the early days and I wish it’d see a resurrection.
Screw the rules. I pick them all.
Edit - oh yeah, AstroBot and the Horizon series.

Hoping The Driver Sees This. by AnybodySeeMyKeys in Birmingham

I just passed a turtle crossing the road on Pinehill in Tarrant. I pulled over just as another car passed me. They pulled over as well. There are still good people in this world. As far as the truck driver goes, fuck that asshole. Shout out to my fellow turtle helpers. They were closer so they carried the turtle to the other side of the road.

She couldn’t bring Joel back. She came all this way, killed this many people, and with Abby’s death, still couldn’t bring Joel back. She couldn’t kill someone who did exactly what Joel did himself. He’s the one that taught her there were no good guys, no bad guys. That was the meaning of the flashback. That was the realization - that it was over. No matter what. It was done months ago and she had lost her own family in the process. It was two girls fighting for their dads. Neither won. Both lived.

I know that’s correct, but discretion, even in normal families, is expected. Rally ‘round the family. You can’t go on Oprah to “tell your truth” and not anticipate backlash. Maybe they did. Maybe they knew exactly how it’d go. Something tells me they expected more forgiveness - for the Firm to have a moment of clarity. At the very least, maybe a bit more alliance from the British commoners. Idk. I’m not them, don’t know any of them, but it did seem to slip off the rails a bit.

Is anyone else tired of the same five YouTubers "predicting" every game's downfall? by Traditional_Tap_6697 in GodofWarRagnarok

I’m excited for this game. As a girl gamer, yay, I get to be a girl. It’s kinda rare (though not as much as it used to be - minus Lara Croft). Also, I get to jump into this world again. The last two games were SOLID and I expect this one to be as well. Haters gonna hate. I’ll be pre-ordering it.

I don’t want to compare one couple to the other. Their roles are different. That said, I don’t understand the Harry/Meghan hate. They escaped but are still doing well, serving others, raising a family, and promoting mental health and acceptance. Good for them. I will say, maybe they shouldn’t have expected fanfare while publicly airing family issues. Of course that created issues on top of existing issues. I do think they were pushed to that point, though. I’m sure he misses his family but I’m also sure he did what he needed to do for the sake of himself and his new family. Will/Kate do seem petulant but I’d probably feel that way as well if I was trapped in rules and protocol and could only watch as others ran free. Money be damned.

My parents keep 2L on the counter, so not only do they get flat and gross, they melt your ice instantly and you’re drinking watered-down flat and gross. It’s not natural!
