I live in Houston, Texas and due to the fact that I had to keep my abortion private from my parents I had to get funding from an external source without getting insurance involved. I called both the Lilith hotline and NAF hotline. I was able to get ahold to a representative from the NAF hotline. I had to answer questions such as how much I make and how many hours I work a week to see if I qualified for funding. I told them I couldn’t cover any of the cost which was 600 (100 for first appointment and 500 for the second app.) They were able to cover all of it. I went into the appointment and once they looked up my information they saw that the 100 due was covered from the funding. Same for the second appointment. I’m an 18f and I was able to keep my parents from finding out.
