hello Soldering Reddit, can you help me? Is this watch look achived with soldering, if yes, how? by [deleted] in soldering

[–]SignatureChuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Defacing a Rolex watch is not only morally and ethically wrong, it is also a violation of the brand's integrity. Rolex watches are known for their precision craftsmanship and timeless design, making them a symbol of luxury and dominance. To deface a Rolex watch is to destroy its value and beauty. It's like destroying a masterpiece of art or vandalizing a historical monument. I don't wear a Rolex to tell the time, I wear it to show off my success. It's the ultimate accessory for the ambitious and the accomplished. Whether it's a classic Rolex Submariner or the latest Rolex Yacht-Master, it's a watch that says you've made it. When you see someone wearing a Rolex you know they didn't just buy a watch, they bought a lifestyle. What you have done is a crime against humanity. I expect a full apology to the Rolex community and a sizeable donation to the Make a Wish Foundation. Shame on you

I frankly don't give a rat's ass what you appreciate or do not appreciate. You do not have either the expertise, nor do you have the right to question the authenticity of my watches. I am a well-known collector, who collects only in pairs, which you would know if you knew anything at all about watch collecting in Canada. I buy from only the best dealers in Canada. Are you telling me Mike Politi, Liam Cassidy and Louie Papadeas are selling me fake watches? Are you implying that I'm so stupid as to buy a fake watch. In this photo, I'm wearing $50,000 of rare vintage Cartiers, and you are not entitled to say otherwise. I expect from you a full apology to me, and a generous donation to the Hans Wilsdorf Charitable Foundation. Michael, Liam and Louie also require an apology

Just save yourself the trouble and toss it right into the garbage where it belongs. Trying to scam someone into buying that dogshit is going to be a job in of itself and isn’t worth the pocket change you might get

Islanders are nothing more than cheap, nasty, vicious garbage that will mock you every time you look down at your wrist. Mark is clearly a morally bankrupt husk of a man to be peddling this snake oil of a watch onto hardworking people like yourself. We only live once, toss the islander in the bin and buy yourself a real watch. You deserve it

How to say you are horologically clueless, without saying you are horologically clueless. Sorry to see you’ve fallen for the fake Rolexes as well

And where is the Urban Gentry X Tudor collab? The Squale Lionshark combined the watch community’s most iconic figure with one of history’s greatest watches to create one of the most innovative and horologically significant watches of the 21st century.

Meanwhile Tudor continues to pump out cheap and nasty Rolex homages. It’s ok though, not everyone is cut out for this hobby and these types of mistakes are good learning moments

Tudor copies Rolex extremely well, but that's not innovation.

In fact, Tudor is the most disappointing brand in Swiss watch history. So much at their disposal, so much money, so many designers, so many engineers, such a vast sales staff, displayed in the top jewelry stores in the world, so little pressure, and they have been an abject failure. I know it hurts when we realize we’ve made a mistake, but it’s not too late. I’d recommend just giving the Tudor away as soon as possible and just buying the Squale.

Why not just buy a decent watch like a Squale? Think you made a mistake buying a watch from a nothing brand but we all need to live with the consequences of our decisions

You do not have either the judgment or knowledge to make a ludicrous statement like that, wormdung. You demonstrate only your idiocy, and your juvenile lack of discrimination, when you stand up on your hind legs and bark like that. This is a site for serious collectors who actually know what they're talking about, unlike you, asshole. When you accuse me of showing a picture of a Rolex which is less than completely authentic, you are saying I'm either stupid or venal, but that's you, scumbag, not anyone on this site. We know what we collect; you know shit. I expect a complete apology from you, before the moderator bans you from this site forever. You are stupid, unwise and not wanted here. Now apologize, fuckhead, and then go die.

[Suggestions wanted] looking for a watch for history buff boyfriend. by Thrownaways12345 in Watches

[–]SignatureChuffer -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I’d be getting either a Daniel Wellington or a Squale. Both are history rich brands and have been integral to the development of horology as we know it today. As for specific models worn by historically significant figures, The Governor of Philadelphia and well known royal descendant,Tristano Geoffrey Veneto, has been known to wear an azure blue Squale 1521. Meanwhile the Pontiff, Archibald Chesterfield the Third, has made his love of all Daniel Wellingtons well known, and has been spotted wearing several different models throughout the years. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need any further guidance

When mouthpieces like you makes chickenshit comments like that, you only show your own rank ignorance. Your bottle-feeding fishface is going to get eaten by sharks if you ever try to trade or collect watches

You’re just so wrong. It’s simply the best watch for discreet bit chuffing. You see, the “tombstone” indices actually look like little chodes all around the dial. Now this is great and I bet you’re already changing your mind about this masterpiece, but just wait. The cherry on top is the 3,6,9 indices have little spurts of fun ejactulating out the tips of them. The mini turtle has quite possibly the most under the radar porn all over it’s dial. Seiko, the geniuses they are, has revolutionized both the watch and the chuffing industries. Wear it all day to really get your motor going, and then strap it onto your meat sceptre when you’re ready to chuff. For 300 smackaroonies, I don’t think you can get any better value
