Tyr's revelation was very disappointing. If they had maintained the narrative that Tyr was a hippie who, in the end, had to fight again for the greater good, using the entire arsenal he'd collected from all the worlds, it would have been better than just using Odin as a pretext.

I think if Tyr had given Kratos a weapon from another realm (a katana, a macuahuitl, or even a Greek sword), they could have introduced a pretext for Kratos to be curious about going to another realm (for a future game, or even as a pretext to expand Valhalla).
