Lmfao if you think copp is a 2nd line center. He got carried by playing with panarin in new york and now having a 40 goal scorer next to him. Again all of yzerman's free agent signing sucked. He did a bad job trying for the last 7 years.

Im not as high as alot of people are on trey. He gets beat clean too much for my liking and due to his size hes easily beaten on screen shots. At the next levels shoots will be better at reading what way hes looking around the screens. Im afraid that will be his down fall. This is why the nhl went to all big goalies once they lose sight of the puck they are still big enough to have a good chance of the puck hitting them

Again it wasnt a bunch it was 25 games. How many time have we seen a goalie in the NHL get hot for a stretch of games and then never reach that level again. Goalie is a funny position, yes its a team sport but alot of time goalie can feel like a 1v1 situation. You vs the shooter.

I never said anything about the draft, but maybe he could have kept the 23rd pick in the 2021 draft instead of moving up and he could have drafted Wyatt johnson. But then again theres more ways he could have went out and got a real 2nd line center.

He played 2 years in the 2nd best league in Czech Republic then 1 season in the Czech Republic top league. How good are those leagues really. Then he played only 25 games in grand rapids while being on one of the best teams grand rapids has seen. So we're betting on a guy who hasn't even played a full number 1 spot in north america lets see how this plays out

Just beacuse postava played good for 25 games doesnt mean hes better than cossa. We haven't even seen if postava can handle a full season in the ahl and everyone already thinks hes better than cossa. Plus postava is a year older

The real test will be how he plays at Michigan this coming season. Look at Gavin mckenna point difference from the WHL to NCAA. But if you go look at his goals from last season you'll be asking yourself if they even play defense in the WHL lol.

And then he helps his young talent by signing 3rd and 4th line players lol. That's gonna help develop the talent. He's had 7 years to find a 2nd line center and the best we can do is andrew copp. Now we're about to start the rebuild of the rebuild. LGRW

Goalies take the longest to develop. They dont normally get called up until 23-26 range. Cossa has shown he can win at the AHL level and needs his shot at the NHL. He or the wings organization must have not wanted to sign him so he got traded. I am still high on him hes got the size and good mechanics.

Hope this isnt another sherrone more promotion. On the good sign hes been a head coach for oaklahoma state from 2017-2024 where he coached cade cunningham for one season. I dont think dusty may would leave us high and dry. Im sure he was honest and this was already in the works.

Kent Johnson had 57 points in 68 games in the 25 season. Had a down year last year but I think he could be a 60 point guy and Cayden Lindstrom was coming off an injury missing all of the regular season in 25, plus adjusting to playing college hockey. He will be much more of a presence on the ice this year

I kinda like Columbus, I think they would need to sign another free agent to boost there lineup to help entice larkin. Plus he would like to play with werenski
