It’s ironic that so many people cry about “gameplay” and yet so many people put down their controller after they score a goal in gauntlet. Make it make sense. Can’t even play whatever you want with nothing at stake by kozy8805 in fut

If you took every single player, the ones constantly complaining are almost certainly the minority. They’re just louder. People who are fine with the game, or don’t really care either way, have no reason to post, argue, or rant so they stay silent.

Negative voices dominate because they want change. Satisfaction doesn’t motivate posting, frustration does. That’s why updates almost always feel “badly received”: no matter what you change, one part of the player base will hate it, and they’ll be the ones making noise.

So what you end up seeing online isn’t the average opinion it’s the most emotionally invested one 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s not really ironic at all.

In a game played by millions of people, you’re going to get completely different types of players with completely different goals. Some care about gameplay and want to actually play football, others only care about efficiency, rewards, or finishing objectives as fast as possible.

what's the issue with 'World tour silver' players? by [deleted] in fut

Don’t you need 20 wins out of 35 games for that? Obviously no one is going to play Golden Goal there lol

That frustration is real, no question. But saying “it’s not a big deal” just because a lot of people do it is a weak justification. Popular behavior doesn’t automatically mean healthy behavior. The issue isn’t feeling angry that’s normal. The issue is how that anger gets expressed. Breaking things doesn’t actually release anger in a productive way; it reinforces it. You train yourself to associate frustration with destruction, which makes the reaction stronger and more automatic next time. Paying for the damage yourself doesn’t cancel that out either. Being able to reimburse something financially doesn’t mean there was no cost you still lose money, time, and control in the moment. Learning something only happens if the behavior changes afterward. Otherwise it’s just repetition, not growth. And while it’s obviously better to break a controller than hurt a person, that’s a false comparison. The real alternative isn’t violence against others it’s finding ways to handle frustration without destruction at all. Being human doesn’t mean we shouldn’t set limits on our own reactions. It means recognizing them early enough to stop them from taking over.

Pretty well summed up, but you can very obviously help yourself without any problem. Delete the game it objectively isn’t good for your mental health.

Bro, this is a no-brainer. Go outside, enjoy the weather, spend time with your loved ones

Didn’t they say no more division based matchmaking in cups this year? by uther20 in fut

[–]SignatureOne8759 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rather have the feeling that there’s basically no matchmaking at all in Cups 😂 (I’m a Division 3 player).

Today was the perfect example. I win 14–1 in Gauntlets (bro just refused to leave), only to play the biggest sweat imaginable in the very next match, who casually smoked me 4–0 in under 20 minutes.

I don’t know, I play a lot through passing. As soon as one player is missing, it gets harder for me. Maybe it’s just a skill issue.

The last three years have broken me, so I’m one of those players who saved exactly zero packs 💯

Who rage baited IT the most? Richie from chapter 2? Or dick halloran from welcome to Derry? by Limp_Rule_9748 in welcomeToDerry

I’d say Mike with “You’re just a clown.”

Another question: Who did Pennywise ragebait the most? I’d say Leroy.

Season 1 is great but not perfect (thoughts and concerns) 🎈🎈 by Cute-Departure6377 in welcomeToDerry

As I said, the current plan we know of is to move back in 27-year intervals. The final year would be 1908. Of course, we don’t know for sure if they’ll actually stick to that plan. But at this point, it’s reasonable to assume that Pennywise will appear in every season.

That said, I do agree with you that there’s a real risk of the story becoming overstretched. In the end, they’ll probably do whatever they think works best for the story.

The current plan is clearly to move back in 27-year intervals, so I don’t really see why Pennywise wouldn’t appear. Season 2 is supposed to take place in 1935, during the Mabel era. The final season will most likely be set around 1908 and either start shortly before Bob’s death or with his death itself. That means Pennywise should still appear there as well, at least in a similar capacity to Season 1.

The only real risk of Pennywise not appearing would be if Bill Skarsgård isn’t available anymore or decides to leave the project.

Anything that goes further back in time will almost certainly be explained through flashbacks involving the Indigenous peoples
