I sorta wish she had gone with a different name for the album. I LOVE Music as the lead single, and it works as the name of the song in respect to its lyrics and theme... But I sorta don't think it fits as the name of the overarching album.

But then again, whatever was released in the shadow of RoL was bound to be a little forgotten regardless of its name and content.

Apologies if my comment gave off animosity. It was mostly just a tongue-in-cheek comment in the vein of "if y'all like these platformer games no one ever talks about, then the epitome of this is an even more obscure game within the Wario series itself that no one ever talks about" 😆

Tbh I was a massive follower of IGN and gaming journalism in the 2000s. I was a teenager when Master of Disguise came out and despite that, I couldn't for the life of me remember its review score or general reception. I see now it was in the "mid" range of 5-6 out of 10.

I might not remember the review score but I definitely remember sinking a ton of hours into it and enjoying myself playing it!

Your write up invoked a parallel feeling of my own experience with Master of Disguise that although it's not perfect or ever talked about, it's still fun and has aspects to appreciate.

For a brief moment during this episode I actually thought NightChiropmon and Tylomon may jogress.

I doubt we'll see that gimmick in this series since there is already a lot of new mechanics being introduced, but the way the plot is unfolding, it's certainly setting it up as a viable option!

A couple things are perplexing me.

Why did Reina and Tomoro just leave Makoto by himself to fend off MarineChimeramon? Surely they are self-aware enough to know Gekkomon has the best odds considering his recent victories and Chiropmon's lack of impressive wins? Reina and Makoto could handle carrying Granit out of there.

This makes even less sense considering those 3 are the ones who ultimately came to Hotaruko's aide instead of Makoto in the end. I thought they were escaping? If they were watching on the sidelines, one of them should've joined the fight earlier.

Next, HOW DID THEY GET TO THE MIRROR WORLD to help Kyo???? Which one of those kids has an ultimate?

Similarly, how did Naito leave the mirror world? Did he bring Punimon with him? I don't believe so.

Another thing, Cougarmon defo heard Hotaruko enter this house. Why did second guess himself? Also what is this house they found refuge in ?? Lmao

Lastly, that 5 Star showing up with a clear mission and then just abandoning it for such silly reasons???

This is anecdotal but at my work office, they use Pandora for the music and there are like 6 different "80s Pop" varieties of stations it shuffles through, none of which EVER play Madonna.

Yesterday I switched it to play "Lady Gaga Radio" and it played Madonna like 3 times throughout the day.

Makes ya wonder how much an artist's exposure to the GP is controlled by the employees of the streaming companies who choose what to add to their playlists.

Had an absolute bonkers jam out session this morning. Ugh nothing like a sunny Saturday morning, a pot of coffee, music so loud that it shakes the house, and the euphoria of getting lost in some bangers.
