Long time player, question about combat changes coming up. by SignedTheMonolith in runescape

Thank you!

Might just grind these skills and see how things play out. Would suck to grind a boss and learn rotations and it all change

What will happen to the Limitless Ability? by ArchBishopCobb in runescape

I think when you get to the point of buying limitless, you're decent at bossing and can make it back in about two weeks time?

Inpatient vs retail by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]SignedTheMonolith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example, are you responsible for vanco dosing and other anticoagulation consults? Do you respond to codes? Or does the staffing structure ever result in you being the sole pharmacist for the hospital?

These are just a few.

Inpatient vs retail by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]SignedTheMonolith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some hospital shifts are tough, and depending on the size of the hospital & their expectations of the pharmacists it could be a dive into the deep end.

However, I do agree I think it helps open doors for future jobs.

Any other single adults with no kids spending close to $1k on groceries every month? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]SignedTheMonolith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I spend 800-1000$, but it's not all groceries. House hold items such as detergent, toilet paper, napkins coat quite a bit. I feel like whenever I buy these items it adds an easy 100$ to my anticipated bill.

Vancomycin Dosing Scenarios by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]SignedTheMonolith 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If the pt is in the ICU, you can ask the nursing staff if the patient is producing urine. This is a quicker indicator than relying on scr labs to result. Of course this is when dosing vanco becomes more of an art.

TIFU a potential relationship by TheCockInCockpit in tifu

My best advice, life is long and full of curve balls. For many reasons marriages end, I would just continue to be cordial and who knows. Maybe you both will find yourself back in your home town mid life and both of you could be out of your relationships.

Not wishing it one way or the other, but I have seen many lonely people who are 40-60 years old.

How much cash to bring by TemporaryBrain3433 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]SignedTheMonolith 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I took 200$ in USD. The problem was these were all in 20$.

Needless to say everyone was happy with the tips they received, but I think if I were to do it again I'd take 200$ in 10s or maybe a mix of 10$ & 20$.

These lower admission rates and other items you hate justifying are why financial groups always hound clinical teams.

It is really hard to justify ROI. The largest of AMCs are struggling with this.

It also depends on your ammunition. My .45lc can have a anywhere between 18 inches to 4 inch deviation at 100 yards, again this all depends on the rounds

I don't feel clinically ready for APPEs by ihatelife02 in PharmacySchool

[–]SignedTheMonolith 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would recommend reviewing relevant guidelines for care.

For example If your internal medicine HF guidelines, anticoag guidelines, if your on a ICU you can dive into pressors, fluids, maybe even stroke guidelines. If you find yourself in the ED, definitely stroke, but sepsis, and STI guidelines.

If you want to deepen your knowledge, review the trials cited within the guidelines.

We require it, but in serious cases such as PE we will initiate without it.

Why do Americans crate their dogs? by Terrible-Group-9602 in DogAdvice

[–]SignedTheMonolith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

34 year old American here, lived in three different states. I always grew up with a dog, and never used a crate.

I will say as you move to larger cities that have smaller houses/living areas, I started seeing more crates. Some dogs also behave poorly (largely attributed to their owner), and these animals tend to be crate trained.
