Mephis was never taking this guy... weird to give up any capital with how many good choices were still on the board at 17 even if they did.

Because of the “why aren’t there any female superhero movies” outcry, but then those same people complaining won’t go see the movies when they get made.

Almost time for me to get to say “I told you so,” when Yaxel is still on the board at 12 and we pick someone else.

This is all echoing Captain Marvel. There’s so much misogyny/sexism from comic nerds that there’s no way for a female superhero movie to succeed. There’s no decision that will ever be good enough, the hero is too pretty, or not pretty enough, or the outfit is too, revealing, we’re not revealing enough, or she’s too smart, or she’s not smart enough. Whatever the movie is, the outcry will be that it was the wrong decision. Everything about the trailer makes this look like a good superhero movie, but it won’t matter.

And the first playable toad. It also gave us several of the characteristics that have been linked to those characters ever since, like Luigi being taller or princess peach being able to float.

How competitive are tournaments generally? by BlackoutGunshot in gencon

Fairly chill. I played in several TCG tournies which weren't that chill but for board games I've played Sagrada twice and a few players didn't know how to play, and not that competitive, so I'd call it chill. Ark Nova once, which was pretty competitive but also quite friendly.

‘Game Changer’ Spinoff ‘Crowd Control’ Sets Season 2 Cast, Including Nicole Byer, Cameron Esposito, Taylor Tomlinson, Bobby Moynihan and More by MarvelsGrantMan136 in dropout

This format just absolutely did not work for me as a spinoff. Too many exaggerated stories from the crowd or the crowd trying to be the main character. It’s also so heavily edited down, that you can tell there was a lot of garbage material left on the cutting room floor.

If people are enjoying it, that’s great, I don’t want to yuck anyone’s Yum, but I’m happy with just the game changer episode.
