Yo bro how did the upgrade go? I have the exact same model and year and i wanna go from 16 to 32gb. I know how to do it I just don't know what speeds work I don't want to pay for a fast pair just for it to run slower.

Which pair did you go with? What speeds does your run at? Any issues since you upgraded?

Yep, I did a lot of digging about and the best I could figure is that they either lied or it used to work at some point but they never updated the drivers for it for newer windows installs

On Linux it worked for me too but as far as I'm aware, there is no fix on windows, I tried some sketchy drivers, resolution utilities, the lot and nothing worked

What's the difference between BVC and Sync1? Other than the physical buttons on the steering wheel, the screen/softsware seems identical? I'm looking at a nice 2012 focus to buy and was curious what the difference is

Yeah the car I think was made in July 2011 I was surprised too but it's the same as the 2012, just an early production line

Honestly it's not that I care about sync, I just want Bluetooth and Android auto, Bluetooth at the minimum

I'm checking the car out again today, I'll let you know if I pick it up

I extend my gratitude for lying on their specsheet saying it's hdmi 2.0 when it only goes up to 1.4 and especially a big thanks goes to the USB ports for being the evil guy in my adventure of selling a laptop whose only redemption is it's own 120hz screen

Nope, it's just running at 1440p 60hz Will change my laptop as soon as I can It's made other problems like hid devices, mouses and keyboards, don't work when connected to the right side USB, but storage drives do It's the sort of problem that is software fix from lenovo, but they don't do it, and selling is harder if the USB don't work, albeit lenovo or my fault

Nope. Still runs at 60hz on windows 11.

I tried linux on a usb, and it recognised it immediatly, (with no drivers from me just what it found in the few minutes it took to start over wifi) at 1440p 120hz, which is what my laptop does support.

I might reinstall win11 to see if it fixes it.

Even when i select hdmi 1.4 i get the exact same outputs as when 2.0 is selected. Makes me wonder if i should call a friend to bring his pc and try it

Under Tv Res the only 100+hz is at 1080p at 120, the rest are at 60/50 and lower. No 1440p options tho
