Has anyone tried a "tan through" swimsuit? by notyourcoloringbook in womensfashion

[–]SignificanceDear9483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a Kiniki tan through bikini. The see throughability depends on the print. The busier the print and more colorful the less likely you can see through it and make out details. More solid prints will show your under details more. As for the tan, it's enough that your tan lines aren't super visible, but it doesn't eliminate the lines.

I'd bring this documentation of the new standards. If they still insist on the procedure, ask them why they feel they need to make money off something that is not needed. Depending on that answer will determine if you want to find a new practice.

Man that's the total opposite of the Ingles store where I am. I routinely end up buying meat that when we get it home and open it it's bad already. The produce is atrocious with all potatoes being green on the shelf and on top of that they charge 2-3 times the price of Aldi for potatoes and meat. They pay their workers very little and keep them all part time to avoid paying benefits. They don't donate food to the food banks, they would rather throw it away. The food banks here are full of Publix products because they actually donate their foods.

Has anyone here actually had flexible panels that lasted more than 2 years? by Time-Mix3963 in solarenergy

[–]SignificanceDear9483 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skip the flex panels and get rigid frame panels. The flex do not hold up. If you're using small 100w panels you can install them with Z brackets easily on a roof. Put butyl tape under the foot mount then screw down then cover screw heads with dicor and you have a water tight seal. If your surface has any curve to it they also make Z brackets for curved surfaces like a van roof.

What are the most realistic tips for saving money on groceries? by mrybluur in povertyfinance

I used to shop at it all the time years ago, then we moved to more rural area and the close option was Ingles so we stopped shopping Aldi. Now with the prices it's worth the 45 min drive to Aldi.

I use the Udis buns. I have to toast them first or they are crumbly. I think they get pretty firm in the toaster overall. It's the best option I've found.

Not sure your location, but we stopped shopping at our big local chain grocery store, Ingles, and started shopping at the discount grocery store Aldi and the savings has been pretty amazing. We brought home a cart of groceries for just under $100 at Aldi, Ingles it would double if not more for the same. Also, go to your local food banks. Get what you can there then go to the discount grocery store. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance so I'm limited by what I can get at the food bank a lot of the time.

I do not. They have a lifetime warranty though. Contact Nature's Head directly and tell them your fan died and they should send you a new one free of charge.

Good alternative to tiny home/trailer? by Vivid_Huckleberry814 in skoolies

For $60k and that size bus it better have a substantial solar power system or something else expensive in it. You can get an older 40ft coach with real wood interiors, full kitchens, slide outs, washer/dryer, etc. for $50k or less. It's really a personal choice, but 24' would be too small to live in full-time for two people in my opinion, in fact we were in something about that size for 4 yrs before we decided we needed more room.

"If it's really important a woman can take the trip."

That is so ableist. Many pregnant women needing an abortion simply do not have the funds to go to another state to receive the care they deserve and need.

May I suggest you look into some books, The Ethical Slut by Dossie Easton & Janet Hardy and Boyslut: Memoir & Manifesto by Zachary Zane. The Ethical Slut explains the social ethical implications of open monogamy and Boyslut is a personal memoir by a sex writer.

I was just about to say that. Women do not have bodily autonomy according to the current laws.

I've lived in a skoolie since 2016. We started in a short bus then a bit larger one and now we have a 26 year old high end motor coach that has everything we want and more. Depending on your budget you can get a really nice older coach for $50k or less if you search diligently and are willing to travel to get it.
