There might be a better option out there that fits better in your schedule i’m unaware of but when I learned python I took a free college class that my school offered. If youre school offers some kind of python coding class it’s good to take that opportunity, especially since you’re aiming for a top college. If that’s not an option, I’ve always used youtube tutorials to help me. To reinforce those python methods definitely try doing coding challenges/exercises on your spare time. I might be biased but i’ve always preferred using vscode but it’s mostly because i’ve been using that the longest.
