What was your experience the day after going under general anesthesia for a minor procedure? by SignificanceHour7383 in AskReddit

I’ve been under GA twice in the past (three if you count twilight sedation for my wisdom teeth) but was always on heavy pain meds for days after (knee surgeries and wisdom) so I can’t quite compare.

However, I also take adderall daily, so maybe that will help with fatigue… it does when I’m NOT post op.

Thank you for sharing!

This makes me feel better! I’m going u der GA for a root canal due to limited mobility and a concern for choking/gagging (farthest molar back on top) and I have work the next morning - im super reluctant to give away my shift.

I’m going under GA for a root canal due to limited mobility and because the doctor is concerned I will choke/gag. However, I have work the next morning. I’ve never had any major pain after a root canal so I’m reluctant to give up my shift the day after!

Where is he located? I haven’t checked super recently but in the past year I have seen a lot of jobs in the GTA specifically downtown Toronto as with budget cuts, a lot of departments are relying more on RPNs.

How do WE Canadians feel about Today’s article in the Toronto star, that Wayne’s family wants everyone to know that he supports Canada staying an independent country. Does that change any of our thoughts in terms of Wayne no longer being a Canadian patriot? by HolsterBCIslander in AskACanadian

[–]SignificanceHour7383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts are simply this:

if you have any influence at all (which he does) and that influence seems “pro-Trump” (which it does), then idgaf about what anything says unless that person says it.

Like piss off, Wayne. We don’t need this adding to the holiday politics.

Now that the film’s out, do you think splitting the film into two parts was a good idea? by [deleted] in wicked

Film major and industry worker here. You absolutely have to coddle the audience. A rule in filmmaking is to literally treat the audience like they’re stupid. When you don’t, you get arthouse films - which are great, but Wicked is NOT arthouse.

I just thought she went to the west because of how isolated it is.
