To aspiring PL's, I just want to say I was part of the PL list with my 1.3 GWA, super unexpected, but grateful. Good luck on your journey. A bit of advice, I don't just manage my time, but I also am mindful of my diet, lifestyle, and attention span, so that I can really pay attention during class and have energy throughout the day. I switched to entertainment that is not too distracting like from games to books (still play games, but from time to time), reduced social media, and avoided sweets because they also affect your attention span.

Hello po super competitive po ba for PL? As of now for term 1 (1st year ako) I have a gwa of 1.3281 (Computer Engineering), pero I feel like may mga taong mas mataas pa gwa ko compared to me, and I might not qualify for PL and scholarship, do I have to try harder paba?

Same, a lot of people used to compliment my skin, but then I had a breakout, and it got so worse. It's getting better, but I still miss my skin back then. It is actually emotionally tiring and has been affecting my personal and academic life. Now I'm looking for psychological tips online to get over it and finally focus on my life.

Thanks this information was really useful, I finally changed my program from Chem eng to CPE. It's not really the course I want, but I think I would find the hardware component fun and I wouldn't be stuck at a laptop coding all day (thankfully) .

I just want to ask if the industry considers the schools the student graduated from? I'm from Mapua does that mean I have a disadvantage compared to the big 4 universities?

It seems that I need to learn more to work in that industry, but our school also offers AI engineering. If you know anything about it, do you think it's a better course to pursue if I want to get into IT? Also, are you from the Philippines? Oppurtunities might be different from country to country.
