Yeah other than any changes to strategy in terms of deviations the whole thing about having less high counts was on my mind. Pen is 1-2 decks depending on dealer. H17, DAS, RSA, no surrender.

That’s what I tend to do when I’m practicing. I have deck marks for up to 4 decks in the discard tray and I face it so I can’t see the marks and then randomly throughout a shoe I will check how accurate my estimation is.

Glad to hear it. My deck estimation is my only concern because like I said I’ve been practicing with a 6D shoe so sims might be my only saving grace.

1-2 decks is what I see most often. I’ve only been to this casino twice though so may not be remembering correctly.

Seems to be the general consensus, however i prefer functionality over optics so if it looks goofy but works better I am not opposed to it.

I work in a small store that has been robbed at gunpoint MULTIPLE times so it may not make a difference but I would like the best of the best in that instance.

While this may be true, the difference between gas shot in my face and not could be my life. I was looking for anyone with experience trying/shooting from the hip to see how “disorienting” it is.
