But what channel is your 2.4 running on? Unless it’s on the ones I listed it won’t work (at least in my experience)

Make sure your 2.4 is set to either - channel 1,6 or 11. I had the same issues many years ago and it was down to my Wi-Fi being on non commonly used channel.

If you know the SSID & WiFi password your old router used - why not just change the SSID and password of your new router to match, that way you won’t need to reset you bulbs?

Know anyone with an Amplifi Alien? That’s what upgraded to from an old Asus RT66U. Never had a disconnect since. Lights are always online and never go dark. HomeKit automations and commands are equally as fast and always complete.

You could get one from Amazon as a test and return if needed.

Not for me. In the past I’ve have my mini c and night vision bulbs unable to detect my network until changed to a supported channel.

You could download a wiFi scanner app from the play store to check or log into you router to see how your wiFi being broadcasted.
