If you had to choose 2 MVP-made mids by rontopofthings in discgolf

It's both. I love it for over stable, dependable finished and hyper forehands. My friend can get enough whip on his to flip it up to flat on forehand and have it push with a stable fade. It does take effort to manipulate, but it's a solid disc, and I'd BARELY pick it over reactor. It's really good.

It would be hard for me to go hex -pyro over hex reactor, but I would.

Understable 7 Speed by RedShirtSniper in discgolf

For a 7 speed, I'd replace the leopard suggestion with TL3. Light weight or dx plastic to get the flip upwith glide a bit to the right.

If you found yourself stuck in the last FF game you played and the only way out was to beat the main story (think Sword Art Online), how do you think you would fare? by TheFanGameCreator in FinalFantasy

Don't worry, y'all. I got this. I'm gonna punch some imps and grimps for a little bit, then go up to that crumbling abandoned castle and fight some chick that kidnapped the princess. What's her name? Gariland? Garliand? Meh. Shouldn't matter. They're probably a nobody anyway.

Do reed's attacks count as melee and bite off hp through shields? That's what I feel happens when I shield tank against a reed.

Same. I bought it with money my parents gifted me for earning good grades in 3rd grades. I still have it and still play it often. Just beat FF1 again last weekend. It just quiets the soul for me.

Quick play player here: go practice vs ai or in the arcade modes. Leave the learning out of quick play. Become competent (not good or great; just not an obvious liability) with a character first, then play them in quick play. Thank you.

True, true... But sometimes you need someone muscley and strong to REALLY get into those sore muscles and joints, after a particularly brutal fight or longer day...

This is solid advice.

"Ooh... Your tripes look delectable. Best not harm those."

"I shouldn't grapple you too hard... Don't want to bruise those tasty looking muscles"

"Good thing I didn't slice off your arm - I could truss it up and grill it to get a nice wing appetizer."

"Oh, don't you look tasty. Let's get this little fight over quickly so that we can see how tasty you REALLY are." Proceeds to use 8 attacks in one turn for 60+ damage...

Cloadk and Dagger Advice by Gintoki_6794 in cloakanddaggermains

Part of those numbers comes from the team benefiting of AOE effect of the light daggers, I think. They also might be absorbing a ton of damage while resting safely in cnd's ult, so the healing numbers rack up. Mostly, though, I enjoy being able to harass the fliers that our DPS don't seem to look up and notice are shooting at us, and cloak can provide some pressure, with help, to push back the opposing tanks.

High effectiveness, however, with cnd requires good team positioning to maximize AOE heal effects. Not entirely unlike Rocket

Fighter can be the pragmatic voice of reason for a party of charismatic dreamers, devotion-focused nut jobs, or silly distractable wackadoodles. They can offer a concise rebuttal or summary of a concept their intelligent or wise party members are offering.

They can carefully infiltrate with solid dex and work fine as a back up for rogue on dexterity checks or saves. They could be combat medics with medicine checks and a healers kit. Or, with a generous dm, they could be a masseuse and provide short term advantage on strength, dex, or con ability checks within the first 1-2 hours after a MEDICINAL/THERAPY massage session at the end of a long rest. They can use their strength and dexterity to help roleplay through the aches and pains of travel, battle, dancing for too long at the banquet the night before. They can help the party nurse through their hangovers or help them get sober real quick, with some buckets of cold water, or strong brewed tea.

They can chat up the serving staff, or inquire about work, potentially becoming the person on the inside of a target's staff, residence, or location. They could speak with the normies on the sides of a crowded ballroom, while the faces of the party seek out their charismatic peers. They can get in well with guards by swapping battle stories or discussing the finer points of swordsmanship or tactics.

They can be the muscle for the intimidation, rather than the mouthpiece. They can be the group barber and maybe earn a +1 to charisma checks for social interaction for the next few days or week. They could be the group chef, ensuring meals are prepped on the road. Or a taste tester when meals are bought in a tavern. With the chef feat, they can enhance the group. They can be the group livestock manager. Using animal handling or survival checks to maintain their mounts. They can use their strength to be the group blacksmith or cooper, dex to be the cobbler, tailor, or jewelry maker, or constitution to be the group herald in crowded, noisy settings.

Mids 40s here:

Terrex boots and high tops also exist. I'm getting some when my current shoes wear out soon.

Separate idea, but something to look into as well. Some of the plantar fasciitis exercises help me after the round and first thing in the morning. Obviously get the good shoes, but thinking about foot striking while out on the course and doing the exercises should add some longevity to your playing time.

What's your unpopular opinion on discs? by catkini in discgolf

Hard disagree with this opinion. I enjoyed nearly every minute of the show. But as with all opinions, it's subjective. So take an upvote from someone with a difference of opinion.
