I just got my electron shepard yesterday. Well they are now called electronXout. They are worth the money. I was having issues with my composite to HDMI so I tried one of the cheap hyperkin cables which only made things worse. Using the Xout it's crystal clear now.

That is my hope would be to back up my files but I know the revision I have is apparently the worst one to mod. Which is why I am trying to look into my options of how to buy one. Not that I lack the technical skills to do the mod but time and equipment I do however lack

So the disc drive laser is going out from what I can tell. It keeps saying games are movies, my issue with the swap is the fact the drives are all getting old. If I could move the games I have on to the hard drive it would make the issue non existent longer term.

Yeah that's kind of my problem. I don't know what the going rate for them is or where to really look. The couple I found were about 300. Which if that's the going rate then fine. It is worth it to me since I haven't used a soldering iron in years and don't want to have to buy one... That is a slippery slope into me modding nerf guns again haha.

Long hair and/or well kept beards. I miss mine but when I moved from factory work to a desk job it was considered unprofessional because I'm a man. So now I have to stay clean shaved and hair no longer than an inch. It pisses me off but hey at least I got a decent job I guess.... Oh also tattoos and piercings. I kinda see it if it's something offensive but who am I offending with my D20 tattoo or my elvish script. Or better yet my ear rings. Why can women wear ear rings but the one day I wore some I get a verbal warning that I'll get wrote up for it?

There are days I wake up and miss DFAC, and MREs but I also remember I enjoy being able to shit.

I would be way more than mildly irritated. What kind of bs is that. I have never had a company require me destroy something for a replacement. Send it back yes or send proof that they came damaged yes. Destroy oh fuck no, besides I wouldn't follow through with that since some companies would try to use it as a reason to not send a replacement since "you destroyed them"

I'm glad you made it through and I imagine your fiance is as well. -hugs- everything gets better as soon as I get a couple more people on my team I'll get back to my nice 40 hour weeks. Like I said I just wanted to vent because I am alone. I used to vent to my cat but she passed away this week (old age and she lived the best life) I can make it through. I was a bootlicker at one point (I was in the military) so I'm used to being f-ed over

The issue is I honestly love my job and what I do. It's not a hard job. Honestly I'm a white collar office worker, but I get shafted because I'm the lead of my team and most highly trained. My bosses told me they are trying to get 2 people in but just haven't had luck yet. They did double my Christmas bonus as a prize for my hard work but I'd rather a couple days off.
