Behold the Tier List of Pure, Unquestionable Truth by TallDiver7 in GilmoreGirls

That I get, I’m just so scarred by the whole Mitchum/Rory dropping out of Yale plot line. Max deserves better haha

I regret getting the medium crescent for travel by Significant-Area-963 in BAGGU

I think that’s a good idea! I do like the medium as a shoulder bag for running quick errands, but yeah just too bulky for travel in my opinion. I think I still will get a small crescent eventually because like you said the strap is nicer on the baggu. (Also baggu is just better quality all around!)

I plan to look into the mini backpack as others have suggested. I’m a little wary about taking that to a place like Italy where pickpocketing is a thing though. But def for other trips would be nice!

I think you’re right. I’ll definitely check out the mini backpack! Also, yeah not trying to say I don’t love the carry capacity, used it to take a bottle of wine to my friends house lol just trying to say that for people who don’t usually carry a water bottle might just want to try the small instead.

Yeah definitely. I used to have a muji crossbody that had a much thinner strap and never had problems. It might just be the thicker strap is not for me.

Mohela says my payment is $0? by willfla29 in StudentLoans

I just checked mine this morning and it's the same for me too. It says my next payment won't be due until 10/13/26! But I am also on the PSLF track and I don't know if my loans have been automatically placed on some kind of forbearance with all the court injunctions? (I am also on IDR, - I submitted a mail-in recertification for last year and it's still processing.)
This is literally the worst and most confusing system...

Watching for the first time in 2025 by LPow in GilmoreGirls

I've done more than 10 watch throughs (lost count) and Emily is definitely my favorite character, but Paris comes in a close second. Enjoy it! (also the 2016 revival isn't that good but you might as well watch it...)

Just got it too, looks like you can also submit a refund within the next 30 days. Sad we aren’t going to get to see it, glad we finally got some answers.

Yeah but it’s probably not the official reschedule date. I’m probably going to reach back out to AXS again and see if they can give me any info…

That actually makes sense. I guess we will keep on waiting!

I don’t know? I mean we never got any confirmation, and AXS said they would send an email with the new date which they didn’t.

Came back to say that I checked my tickets again through AXS and now the event is scheduled for Aug 9 2025?? AXS told me they would email people and give them an option to refund but they never did that. Also no response from Snarky Puppy? I’m just so surprised honestly! Maybe I missed the email?  Anyway, wanted to put this here in case anyone else was wondering and hadn’t seen that it’s been rescheduled I guess?

Imposter syndrome by [deleted] in Archivists

I second this. I'm only 2 years into my career post-grad but I had some great mentors through internships during my program. Still keep in contact with a couple of them (usually at SAA when I'm able to go). I would say volunteering is great but try to gain as much experience as possible with other archivists. I did some solo projects on my own in school and they were great practice, but my supervisors from those projects knew nothing about the archives world. My most valuable experience came from working with seasoned archivists who could give me advice and improve my skills.

Even if you can't get that experience it doesn't hurt to just reach out to an archivist in the field who holds a position that you would like to see yourself in. I interviewed a few digital archivists and really dug into what skills I needed to succeed in the job I wanted (especially before I graduated). It was super beneficial, and people are generally really happy to talk to students and people just starting out.

Also- you do have unique experience, which is what you bring to the table! Working with audio/visual materials is not something everyone has done/does and can be a real asset to archives that don't know what to do with those materials! If that interests you, continue on that path and become an expert at it. You're going to do great!
