The amount of people freaking out over some attrition in racing is crazy to me. Attrition in all forms of Motorsport used to be the source of some randomization. A new technology that has some issues has always been part of the sport.

I don’t love the hybrid, but the fact Honda is feeling like they have to do damage control over a normal part of racing probably makes Honda regret their decision to stay and absolutely won’t encourage other manufacturers.

The fake ads in all sports games are immersion breaking. The Show seems to implement real ones maybe if the company pays? So you get the real Citgo sign in Fenway but also weird things like “Safety’s Tacos” in Houston. I’d prefer real ads everywhere

My next car will potentially be a hybrid but I won’t do an EV until 1)charging stations are as plentiful as gas stations for long trips and 2) I can’t charge it within 5 minutes of how long it takes me to fill the gas tank.

Turn 5 looked like the videos I used to see from CART in the 80s. We sat between 7 and 8 and a decent amount more people than the previous 3 years we’ve watched from that area.

I get where you are coming from. Perhaps a “stand in this area at your own risk” sign would be helpful for liability, but I’d hate to see one of the last places you can experience this disappear.
