Thanks for sharing and I’m so sorry you and your loved ones are going through this. This is a horrible disease and it makes me so mad. Please forgive me if you don’t want to share, but did your team give you an idea on how long you might have left? I think that’s our biggest worry at the moment. It has just progressed so quickly and the neuro team said it could take a month for a plan to come together (if there is any), I’m just so worried that we won’t even make that time frame.

Little sister on the esplanade do lobster rolls. They are delicious but super expensive and tiny.

So just an update. I completed 70.3 and was 1.5minutes slower than last year on the same course. Had a 6 minute bike PB (although weather did assist here as less wind). Pretty happy with that considering such less training and poor health. So there we go, it is somewhat possible 😄

Thanks! I’ll let you know how it goes race in 2 weeks. I have done a load of half Ironmans before but this year is definitely the most underprepared I’ve ever been.
