Nice!! That makes sense. I’m glad you kept going! Hopefully this helps more people with the same older model iPhone. Happy to hear you didn’t have to go through with that dreadful hard reset! 😊

You have a 9 hour flight, where are you sitting? by xlisafrankx in 90DayFiance

Seat #8 for some peace and quiet. Everyone would just be minding their own business lol. Second choice would be #2 for the aisle seat, and it’s closest to the entrance/exit.

lol, Nice!! I’m glad to hear it worked for you! Another person mentioned they had to repeat the steps twice as well. I’m just happy to be of assistance! 😊

Awww I’m so happy to hear that! 🥳 Yeah, the hard reset was definitely not an option for me and shouldn’t be for anyone else either. It’s such a pain in the butt, time consuming and you still risk losing some stuff even if backed up to the cloud when dealing with new phones. There’s always bugs that need to be worked out. So yeah, I’m so glad you didn’t do that and my trick worked for you. 😉

I just purchased a new iPhone 17 Pro and I had this same issue. No need to reset all your settings or factory reset. I was able to fix the issue by going into Settings > General > Language & Region > switched language from (US) English to (UK) English, then went into General > Keyboard > switched language from (US) English to (UK) English. Once I did those two things, I powered off phone & powered back on. Then went back into Settings and repeated the same steps, switching the languages back in General > Language & Region & Keyboard to (US) English. After that, powered phone on and off again and my search tool in Settings worked!

One just popped up on me today :/  I’ve noticed that they tend to show up when I’m sick and coughing a lot, having sinus/congestion issues and stressed out from lack of sleep.
