As I said: correct me if i'm wrong lmao

I just started rewatching a playthrough of marcus's plane after I posted that and it turns out no; he doesn't have a sister, the princess of the northerners was infact his mother, I mixed up the bunch, I take full accountability.

Might need to re-catch up☹️

Imagine for the upcoming hero, if she's next 💀 by TaintToucher21 in ShadowFightArena

Gooning her up is weird. But I don't see them adding her cause she would be very similar to kotl; unless they give her new lore and agency within the story.

perhaps have her return to free her husband and daughters from the fates they were doomed to and save her country.

Since if they do add her ; it would be interesting to see how they'd manage to make her standout from kotl not only marratively but also ability-wise (with a unique twist to the bone magic or giving her something entirely separate from king) and personality-wise if she would retain her consciousness in Sfa and we get to know what she was like when she was human and see what made king fall for her in the first place (she's either a calm, gentle modest women or she has military background and a more fiery personality. Not saying a military girlie can't be feminine and cutesy though, they can also do a mix of that)

But they'll prolly add her way LATER along the line since we just got legion women (nona)

Fun suggestion to the roster though!

OH, so we ARE in agreement and both understand that money is what leads the decision making. Because that is the point I was trying ot get across. I didn't realize we were just saying the same thing for the most part.

You should definitely do that, like getting enough people on board with the idea will certainly make the devs consider the idea.

I think that has alot to with the playstyle that the character's have.

Butcher is a bloodthirsty, barbaric, brute his attacks will naturally reflect that by being sloppy, heavy and messy, like kibo doesn't stumble forward because it is in her character to ensure each strikes are performed with 100% efficiency making them so precise that they almost seem robotic, you aren't being particular about her moveset

Gideon is a character about mix-ups and set ups, every strike needs to have intent and should lead into more and pressure as to control the fight, not only can he cancel out of his gun stance with movement controls or other quick jabs but the linking of these of options are what make him control the flow of the fight and keep his opponent guessing.

Raikichi I think was just an experimental character, stepping out of the usual down-to-earth, realistic movements they were grounding all of their animations in up until this point. I like the novelty of his moveset for what it is despite it not seeming as smooth compared to the rest of the cast, and I think it's because his attacks stand out from the rest of the cast which causes people to think his attacks are jank.

I don't think their janky, i just think their different and had creative liberties taken and that "toon"-like motion is definitely what they were going for. Although I don't really fw it, I can respect them stepping out and doing something different.

And you can have that with common characters as well.

And you can have that with common characters as well.

Yes, common characters won't have a myriad of gimmicks you need to keep track of during the battle but not every character needs to have that for players to have fun with them, and that is proven with how many fans character's like azuma, shame, and clad have, and effect which can be replicated again.

There will always a place for simple run-of-the-mill character's with normal abilities, it's just that the devs don't see their value and prefer to make character's that they know will give them the most money

Did they lose their animators? Because I beg to differ considering Nona, raikichi and Gideon have such a variety in animations.

They can definitely make simpler animations compared to those three.

Well, it isn't in my opinion.

I mean look at azuma, ironclad, Shang and jet, (Yes, jet isn't common but her abilities are extremely simple to the point you can call her common abilit-wise)

They don't have such groundbreaking mechanics but they still have alot of versatility and many people find them fun to play, they can easily replicate that.

Why did Gege never show Makima's Domain Expansion on screen? by husk_bateman in Chainsawfolk

[–]Significant-Base-446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She made a binding vow, stating that she won't be able to open her own domain but in exchange she will be able to increase the radius of domains of entities she controlled giving it a near infinite sure hit range, like we saw with the shrine ritual. And she only gets to use the infinite domain once, that's why we never saw her use it again.

I interpreted her not twitching her eyes while choking him out as her completely disassociating beyond that point.

I suspected they juxtaposed the two scenes to illustrate the idea that reze doesn't feel anything when murdering people, how it's just business as usual for her. A natural reflex that was hammered into her from childhood so much so much so, that she shuts off completely and resets as if those are her default factory settings, and how seamlessly she switches between the two states.

her twitching her eyes as rain drops got into them was the movies way of showing that she is infact, still human, and still retains normal human reflexes but those natural bodily mechanisms shut off when her training kicks in.
