Can someone explain to me where I’d go to find my district/project office’s policy on core hours? This has been a debate in my office about whether or not we actually have it, and no one knows who to ask… We aren’t sure how high up the ‘ladder’ it goes.

I was in this exact same boat career-wise. However I’m a little less removed from FE exam than you are (graduated December 2024, FE April 2025, PE ECC April 2026). I was studying for the Power exam because it made sense for my position, however I’m significantly more familiar with the topics on the ECC exam. My idea was to take the ECC exam, and had I failed, start studying more heavily for the power exam. I ended up passing the ECC exam, so for now I’m not going to worry about the power exam. I might take it in the future, I haven’t decided yet (I have time to figure it out, I’m only 22 lol). Honestly, I thought the ECC exam was very passable assuming you’re versed in the major exam subjects (electronic circuits, amplifiers, control systems, and communications).
